Major Startup Event Held in Saint Lucia to get Business Ideas Flowing

A major event aimed to inspire entrepreneurial spirit took place last week courtesy of Invest Saint Lucia (ISL) as part of a campaign to bring out the best business ideas on the tiny island.

The Saint Lucia Entrepreneurship Meetup 2019 was held in Pointe Seraphine and featured talks from the Caribbean nation’s top businessmen and women, including Nydia Norville (Choiselle), Henson Hunte (Fun Foods – Island Pops) and Ian Mitchell (eMagine Solutions).

Over 140 people were attended and were able to ask questions and hear the difficulties and success stories of the island’s top enterprisers.

The event is a precursor to the broader program, Business Incubator and Accelerator Programme, to be finalized by ISL and launched by December this year.
