Twenty-five years ago, we started a project that was based on a big idea: We could use the digital world that was just emerging to help businesses grow in ways that were almost unthinkable at the time. Since that point, Google Ads has been guided by the success of our customers, who range from small businesses and startups to local blogs and global brands. Since then, we have remained laser-focused on fueling that growth, constantly reimagining what is possible for our industry, our partners and the billions of people who use our products. From the early days of keyword search to mobile, the first YouTube video ads, Google Analytics, and AI-powered campaigns, the advancements have been incredible. Furthermore, we are not slowed down. Generative AI is transforming digital marketing, and I am so proud to see us leading the way with agentic capabilities, tools that automate and optimize campaigns and cutting-edge creative generation. We are not only enabling businesses of all sizes to scale their creativity with these new features, but we are also assisting them in reaching new audiences and establishing connections with people all over the world. The best advertisements, in fact, are merely responses. They are opportunities for inspiration that respond to people’s challenges, questions and curiosities. We are delivering those answers faster and better than ever before with AI serving as our foundation. And there is no better place to find them than on Search and YouTube — where discovery starts and decisions are made.
